I am pleased to reveal the V1 PCB for the AIS-ILIS1 ionic electrospray thruster for PocketQubes! The design is already submitted to OSHPark and being made now. If it works it will be the most advanced PocketQube thruster ever designed and built as well as the first ever PocketQube compatible ion thruster! At only 45mm square, this single module also lends itself perfectly for an electrospray cluster for Cubesats. I am currently working on the conceptual CAD model for the first ever AIS cluster, bringing this thruster to the Cubesat level as well, though a single thruster can easily be used for a Cubesat itself.
