Scavenging, scrounging, and sourcing components, materials, and equipment for projects is a useful and necessary skill, especially when working on science with a limited budget. From surplus sales, to trades, recycle, tech dumps, and networking, often times old and used equipment is worth its weight in gold. Not all the equipment and parts obtained are used immediately for a project however. This page is dedicated to documenting all of these extra miscellaneous items obtained for projects on Applied Ion Systems. Everything from old power supplies, to diagnostic equipment, vacuum parts, hardware, and other odds-and-ends, the inventory of old but useful items is growing, just waiting for a future application.
